SN: BFM9150 #36 of 500 August edition of the "Twelve Revolvers" - a limited edition Ellett Brothers exclusive where a new revolver was released each month for the year of 1990 with an action scene & title inspired by early S&W advertisers. 'The K-38 Target Masterpiece' Medium frame double-action revolver chambered in 38 Special, manufactured circa 1990. Features a nickel plated finish, 8 3/8" barrel with partially serrated wide sighting rib, raised patridge front sight with orange bead, adjusted micrometer click rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, fluted six-shot cylinder, serrated .400" target trigger, .500" target hammer, three screw square butt K target frame and two-piece checkered Goncalo Alves target grips with silver S&W medallions. Includes the original factory two-piece blued cardboard box with tool, documents, parchment paper, cleaning tools and matching label. The revolver exhibits nearly all of it's original finish showing only a few minor handling marks and a very faint drag line on the cylinder. Action is smooth with tight lock up, the bore is pristine and the wood grips are near fine with what may be a crack in the right panel. Condition is near NRA Perfect in box. ***Modern Firearm****
