#BUB0857 'One of One Hundred' Highly embellished large frame double action revolver chambered in .44 Magnum. Manufactured by Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA and subsequently embellished by The American Historical Foundation of Richmond, VA. This limited edition California commemorative revolver was produced in “The Fifty States” series in which 100 revolvers were produced for each state. Features a blued finish with laser engraving & numerous 24k gold plated embellishments, 8 3/8” heavy barrel with partially serrated wide sighting rib, raised serrated ramp front sight with orange insert, fully-adjustable rear sight with white outlined square notch, fluted six-shot cylinder with shrouded ejector, gold plated .400” serrated target trigger, gold plated .500” checkered target hammer, gold plated cylinder release latch, and smooth finger groove wood grips with high gloss finish & California state seal medallion on the right side. The 24k gold embellishments include a silhouette of California, “1850”, “The Golden State”, “California”, “Limited Edition”, and “One of One Hundred”. Includes a locking glass-top presentation case with plaque, key, & red velvet lined fitted interior. Revolver retains approximately 99%+ of its original finish showing little to no visible wear. The action is mechanically sound with very good lock-up, the bore is excellent/bright, and the wood grips are excellent.
