'1st Model' Antique double-action-only top-break concealed hammer revolver chambered in .32 Smith & Wesson, manufactured in Springfield, MA circa 1888-1898. Features a nickel plated finish, ribbed 3 1/2" barrel, pinned round blade front sight, 'u' notch rear sight cut in the raised portion of the barrel catch, push down barrel latch, fluted five-shot cylinder with automatic extractor, case hardened smooth crescent trigger, blued trigger guard, concealed hammer, knurled grip safety and diamond checkered hard rubber grips molded checkerboard pattern on the top of the left panel & S&W monogram on the top of the right panel. Matching serial numbers are found on the barrel, cylinder and frame. Revolver retains approximately 85% of its nickel plated finish showing scattered scratches, losses and dings. The cylinder bears a newer refinish. Action is sound with very good lock-up, the bore is fair and the hard rubber grips are very good. Condition is NRA Good. ***Antique Firearm***
