SN: 129578 Antique double action top-break revolver chambered in .38 Smith & Wesson, manufactured in Springfield, MA circa 1884-1895. Features a nickel plated finish, 3 1/4" ribbed barrel, pinned round blade front sight, 'v' notch rear sight cut into the top of the "T" shaped barrel latch, fluted five-shot cylinder, automatic extractor, smooth case hardened crescent trigger, blued recurve trigger guard, case hardened hammer with knurled wide spur, round butt frame and diamond checkered black synthetic grips with molded S&W insignias. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, barrel latch and cylinder. Revolver retains approximately 65% of its original finish showing heavy wear on the barrel and scattered losses throughout. The action is sound with good lock-up, the bore is fair, the markings are good and the synthetic grips are good with the left panel appearing to be a reproduction.
