Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum “Dirty Harry” Revolver
There are a few legendary movie guns - guns so famous they could arguably be called the co-stars of the film. One that we all know is the Smith & Wesson Model 29 in the film Dirty Harry. As he portrayed Inspector Harry Callahan, Clint Eastwood delivered a monologue that made this firearm famous: “I know what you’re thinking. ‘Did he fire six shots or only five?’ Well, to tell the truth, in all this excitement, I’ve kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya punk?” Identical to Harry’s co-star sidearm, this revolver has a 6-1/2 inch barrel, deep blue finished carbon steel, and walnut grips. This particular gun was made in 1974, exactly 50 years ago, has never been fired, and rests in its original, beautiful walnut presentation case lined with red velvet. This is an iconic American gun that deserves an appreciative owner.
