SN: 59241 Revolver, Double-action. 6-rd Cylinder. WW1 Era. Manufacture from 1915 to 1917 for mostly the British, and Canadian Military markets. Chambered in .455 eley. Designated the MK II by the British Armed Forces. 6 1/2" round barrel, with large front sight blade, and notch/sighting groove on top of frame. Revolver has the war-time parkerized finish, except for the blued cylinder pin. Lanyard ring attached. Matching Serial numbers. Numerous British proofs on frame, barrel, and cylinder. Pinned barrel, with smooth trigger. Smooth wood grips. Action is smooth/tight. Cylinder indexes properly. Bore, and cylinder appear excellent/bright, but dirty. S&W barrel markings are faint due to parkerized finish. S&W logo on right frame. No visible import markings. Metal finish about 95%, with wear to the edges, and slight surface rust on the barrel. Should clean up. NRA Condition-Very good. C&R eligible.
