American made extra large framed double-action revolver chambered for .500 Smith & Wesson Magnum. Dubbed as the "most powerful production revolver in the world", by Smith and Wesson. The Smith & Wesson 500 was introduced in 2003, and was boasting 2,600ft/lbs of muzzle energy. Revolver features a satin stainless steel construction, S&W X-Frame, raised blade front, adjustable rear sights, 8.38" serrated ribbed ported barrel, interchangeable compensators, raised HIVIS red fiber optic front sight (extra blade sight included), micrometer adjustable square notched rear sight, smooth curved trigger, external hammer with checkered spur, transfer bar safety, full-underlug, knurled ejector rod head, 5-round fluted cylinder, checkered cylinder release, internal locking system (two included keys), and pebble textured Hogue black rubber finger groove grips with S&W motif's on both sides. The original satin stainless finish retained is approximately 99% with superficial scratches, and a very light drag line on the cylinder. Metal displays no rust, or deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the cylinder chambers are also excellent condition. The action is smooth and crisp with a tight cylinder lock-up. The Hogue rubber grips are in excellent condition. Revolver includes the original foam-lined blue plastic factory hard case, cable lock, extra compensator, extra front sight blade, two internal lock keys, a couple of tools, and a manual.
Condition is NRA Excellent.
