'Centennial Airweight', an American made lightweight small-frame double-action only revolver chambered for .38 Special (rated for +P ammunition), and manufactured in Springfield, MA. The Model 642-1 was the reintroduction of the Model 642 in 1996, and it was built on a clear finished round butt aluminum Magnum J frame with three screws (SKU 14397). Revolver features a satin stainless steel finish on some of the components, a 1-7/8" stainless steel barrel, serrated ramp front sight, square notched top strap rear sight, fluted five-round stainless steel cylinder, machined cylinder stop, checkered thumb piece, knurled non-shrouded ejector rod, case-hardened smooth curved trigger, hammerless design with a flat faced internal hammer, floating firing pin, no internal locking system, smooth grip straps, and a two-piece oval textured black rubber grips with S&W insignias on both sides. The slide plate is laser engraved with the S&W trademark. The original satin gray finish retained is approximately 99% with only superficial handling blemishes. Metal displays no rust, or deformation. Includes black nylon factory soft case, M&P Delta Force Flashlight, S&W Oasis Liner Lock Folding Knife, factory cardboard box with end label, cable lock, instruction manual, sticker, and shipping carton.
