Smith & Wesson Model 1 1/2 .32 RF SN: 2618
‘Old Model’ Antique small-medium frame bottom break action single action spur trigger revolver chambered in .32 Short rimfire, manufactured circa 1865-1868. The model One-and-A-Half was introduced after the models One & Two as a more civilian oriented pocket model. This was done in an effort to increase sales with the declined demand for firearms following the American Civil War. Features a bright blued finish, 3 1/2" ribbed octagonal barrel, German silver round blade front sight, knurled case hardened hammer with notched rear sight, unfluted five-shot cylinder, manual ejector rod, smooth spur trigger, and two-piece varnished rosewood grips. Serial numbers match on the butt & right grip panel and the assembly number “8” is stamped into the frame, cylinder & barrel. Revolver exhibits approximately 65% of its original finish showing scattered handling marks, nice case colors on the hammer and thinning on the barrel & ejector rod. Action is sound with very good lock-up, the bore is excellent, markings are clear and the wood grips are very good with some small losses. Condition is NRA Fine. ***Antique Firearm***
