'2nd Issue' Antique small frame bottom break action single-action spur trigger revolver chambered in .22 Short, manufactured circa 1860-1868. Features a blued/silver plated finish, 3 3/16" ribbed octagonal barrel, round German silver blade front sight, 'v' notch rear sight cut into the cylinder stop, non-fluted seven shot cylinder, manual ejector rod, smooth spur trigger, knurled hammer spur, and two-piece rosewood grips. The right grip is serial numbered to the gun. Revolver shows little remaining finish on the barrel & cylinder showing light scattered pin prick pitting and a light grey patina. The frame shows approximately 40% of it's thinned silver finish which has turned to a darkened patina on the backstrap and butt. Action is sound with solid lock-up, the markings are good, the bore is good with some dark pitting and the wood grips are very good. Condition is NRA Very Good. ***Antique Firearm***
