SN: ADP5116 This is a commemorative revolver of the shootout at Tomato Springs, Orange county, CA in 1912, Orange county Under Sheriff Robert Squires was killed and three others seriously wounded by a man that attacked a young girl, the perpetrator was killed by the posse. Squires was the first Orange county killed in the line of duty. American made Double/Single-Action. 6 shot revolver chambered for .44 Magnum cartridges. Built on a N Target Frame with a Square Butt. It has a wide knurled hammer spur with a 6" ribbed, pinned barrel with ramped blade front sight with red insert and white outline micro click rear sights. Serrated backstrap. Stainless steel finish. Smooth wood grips with Deputy Sheriff badge Medallions. Serrated wide trigger. Trigger and hammer are color case hardened. Serrated straps Left frame has wreath with Squires name, and 1912. Left barrel has a image of Squires, a shootout scene, and "Tomato Springs Shootout Orange County 1912", really nice work. Nickel finish looks great with a barely visible drag line on the cylinder. Grips look great. Bore is pristine, looks unfired. Comes with an walnut case, form fitted for the revolver , commemorative plaque with shootout scene, and a Orange Deputy Sheriffs badge numbered 104. with green felt. Excellent condition with key.
