Smith & Wesson Model 36-1 Chief's Special Double Action Revolver, #J555695, .38 Spl. cal., 3" pinned heavy barrel, blue finish, case hardened hammer and trigger, factory checkered round butt walnut magna grips with S&W medallions ramped blade front sight, and standard square-notch rear sight. In correct type blue two-piece S&W factory box that is numbered to a different revolver. Mfg'd circa 1976-1977. Overall condition is excellent, retaining approx. 98%+ factory blue, with intermittent minor handling marks. Hammer and trigger retain approx. 95%+ case colors. Grips with a few minor handling marks; checkering detail is sharp. Action is crisp and cycles smoothly. Bore is bright with excellent rifling.
