Smith & Wesson Model 57 Double Action Revolver, #S281781, .41 Mag. cal., 4" pinned barrel, blue finish, checkered black rubber Pachmayr Gripper grip, red ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight with square-notched groove, color case hardened target hammer and target trigger. Mfg'd circa 1966-1967. Includes a newer one-piece blue S&W pistol box (no end label). Condition is very good, retaining approx. 90% factory blue, showing some light scratching, general light marks from handling and use. Holster wear to the muzzle and cylinder accounts for much of the finish loss. Cylinder displays plum colored toning. Case colors are vibrant and a majority remain. Grips are excellent, showing little use. Action cycles smoothly and locks up well. Bore rates very good and is bright with defined rifling. Box is damaged where the end label was removed; otherwise, in excellent condition. Est.: $750-$1,000. (C&R/PPT)
