Single action tip-up rimfire revolver made circa 1861 - 1874. This is a Civil War era pistol, with a serial number below 35731, produced before May 1st, 1864. Features blued finish, two piece smooth rosewood grips, square butt, spur trigger (no guard), 6" octagonal barrel with solid top rib, fixed sights, 6 shot unfluted cylinder. Bore and cylinders appear excellent The serial number matching wood grips are near excellent with minor scratches. Assembly characters match on the barrel and cylinder. Retains about 70% of the original blue finish, with handling/edge wear, scratches, and a area of pitting on the right side of the barrel. Action is crisp/tight.
