Smith and Wesson Hand Ejector Third Model revolver, .44 S&W Special caliber, Serial #56225. The pistol is in fine overall condition with a 6 ½” barrel. The pistol retains approximately 98% of its originalnickel finish with a small loss at the muzzle. The pistol features vivid case colors on the hammer and trigger. The checkered wood medallion Magna grips are in very good condition showing small mars andhandling wear. The bore is very good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. The pistol includes a Smith and Wesson factory letter confirming all features and indicating that the pistol was shipped to J. Warshal &Son of Seattle, Washington on July 7, 1941.
