Sonora Mexico Trophy Mule Deer at Rancho El Bamury!
Experience an extraordinary seven-day free-range Mule Deer hunt at Rancho El Bamury in Sonora, Mexico, one of the region's most respected and traditional hunting ranches.

Founded by Rogelio Lizarraga in 1996, Rancho El Bamury has provided exceptional hunting experiences and trophy animals to hunters from around the world for decades. Today, the operation remains a family business, with Rogelio's daughter, Maria Lizarraga, working alongside him.

The Lizarraga family has owned the ranch since 1906, and Rogelio represents the fourth generation to manage this remarkable property. With approximately 80,000 acres of free-range hunting country, Rancho El Bamury offers an incredible wilderness setting for pursuing trophy Mule Deer, with areas planted in oats, sorghum, and wheat providing excellent wildlife habitat.

Description:
This seven-day hunt is for one hunter and includes a personal guide, driver, hunting tag, and rifle permit. During your stay, enjoy the comfort and hospitality of the ranch house, including a fully stocked bar and beverages, breakfast, lunch and dinner, Wi-Fi, satellite television, and horseback riding. Observers may be added for $150 per day, and the winning hunter also has the option to add a Coues Deer for $5,000. This hunt may be scheduled during available dates for 2026-2027 or 2027-2028 seasons.

Your adventure begins in Tucson, Arizona, where the Rancho El Bamury staff will meet you at the airport and assist with your border crossing before transporting you approximately four hours to the ranch in Sonora. Each hunter is provided with a dedicated guide and driver, many of whom have worked with the ranch for years and know the property intimately. Hunting tactics include covering the ranch's seemingly endless network of roads in high-rack 4x4 pickups, glassing expansive country, spotting, and tracking. The combination of vast free-range habitat, experienced guides, and dedicated hunting effort provides an exceptional opportunity to pursue a true trophy Mule Deer, with the majority of Rancho El Bamury's hunters successfully harvesting a trophy.

This exceptional donation has been generously provided by Rancho El Bamury in honor and remembrance of our beloved former Board Member, Cody Jones, whose friendship, dedication, and service to Safari Club International will always be remembered.

This is a 100% donation to the Fort Worth Chapter!
