Steyn Potgieter of ESP Safaris is donating a 7-day Crocodile or Sable Safari for two hunters, which includes the trophy fee for one Crocodile or Sable.
Join Steyn and his team at ESP Safari in the Sekombo concession, located along the Limpopo river (bordering the country of Botswana) for five days of scouting the sandbanks and shore for a trophy Nile Crocodile.
The Nile Crocodile is the largest crocodilian in Africa, they can live to be over a 100years old and weigh up to a Ton. The male crocodile can measure from 11 to 15ft long, average 500-1100lbs and large males can push the scale up to 1700lbs.
Included: This safari includes 7 days of hunting, accommodations, all meals, drinks, daily laundry service, 2x1 PH & Staff, field preparation of trophies, all permits and the trophy fee for one crocodile or sable.
Not included:in the donation are extra day fees, additional trophy fees, tips and gratuities, airport transfer of $300 per person, taxidermist charges, crating, shipping of trophies, lodge/ hotel accommodations before and after safari, vat + taxes.
Each hunter can have the option of taking additional trophies and adding hunting days. Please refer to the current ESP Safaris price list for available species and trophy fees. The hunter day rate is $350 per day. Observers are welcome, and the non-hunter day rate is $200 per day.
The hunt is good for any available dates in 2022 or 2023
A $1000/hunter deposit confirms your booking, deposit will be applied towards your additional trophy fees.
Hunt cannot be PIGGYBACKED with another hunt, with ESP or another Outfitter.
To qualify as a hunter more than two animals must be taken. Observers taking less than two trophy fee animals are not included in this donation.

Online Live Auction Policy
All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on auctioned hunts, services and/or items, including fishing trips (hereinafter “hunts”).
All such auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all such hunts must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
The purchaser (winning bidder) must contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase.
If the purchaser fails to contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits.
Failure to make necessary arrangements may constitute forfeiture.
SCI-AK is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor.
SCI-AK has made reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts, items, and other services; however, SCI-AK does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
All donors provided notice on the SCI-AK donation form, or other supporting documents they submitted to SCI-AK with their donation, specifics regarding the duration (in days) of the hunt/service and the available date range for completion of the hunt or service offered in the donation. They also addressed what lodging/accommodations are offered and what trophy fees are included with the donation. A copy of this donation form (and/or supporting documents) will be provided to the winning bidder if he/she requests the subject documents formally in writing to SCI-AK within 12 months of the auction date.
SCI-AK does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of any trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
Several bid items have undisclosed reserve amounts. The seller or its designee reserves the right to bid up to, but not over, the undisclosed reserve amount.
The goods and services offered in the auction are sold “as is”, including any faults or defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of SCI-AK or Safari Club International (SCI). SCI-AK and SCI make no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
The winning bidder acknowledges that SCI-AK and SCI cannot be responsible for, or liable for, any political unrest, epidemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can SCI-AK or SCI be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
The winning bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
SCI-AK reserves the right to add/withdraw any item from the auction line-up.
All donations will be used for efforts to protect our hunting heritage, wildlife conservation projects, and other core missions of SCI and SCI-AK, so please bid generously!
