Craig & Zeriah Wessels of Africa Expedition Safaris are donating a FIVE (5) DAY "GRAND SLAM OF SMALL CATS” HUNT for ONE (1) HUNTER INCLUDING TROPHY FEES for a SMALL or LARGE SPOTTED GENET, AFRICAN WILD CAT, CARACAL, and CIVET in 2017-18. Note: this donation requires and additional (3) days at $450/day. Species to be hunted: small spotted genet, large spotted genet, African wild cat, caracal, and civet. Since the cats are nocturnal, dusk to early morning is the best time to find them out and about. Two simple methods are used to get the cats into shooting position, both utilize lamping of one type or another. The first method utilizes blinds while hunting over baits since, like like the leopard, smaller cats are attracted to dead animals. This type of hunting tests the patience of a hunter, sitting for hours in the dark waiting for the predators to come and satisfy their hungers, only to be interrupted by a bright light and a loud bang. The second method can be fun for the whole family, as your guide drives you around the wilds of Africa spot lighting for the cats. You also get to see the plains game of the day in their night time roles. Don't be fooled by how easy this method sounds. Hunting cats by spot light is no walk in the park, but behind every bush lies another surprise waiting to be discovered. Includes: Professional hunter services, meet and greet at Polokwane airport, transfers, deluxe accommodations, meals, soft drinks, local beers and house wine (excluding spirits), guide service, five days of hunting and accommodations (minimum of eight (8) days of hunting required, cost of additional days is $450/day), laundry services, camp staff, trackers and skinners, field preparation of trophies, vehicle use, and delivery of trophies to the local taxidermy. Not included: rifle rimport permit, trophy fees of extra animals hunted or wounded, dip and pack, crate and export of trophies, accommodation before or after the hunt, cost of additonal three (3) days at $450/day, hard liquer, tips and gratuities. www.africaexpectation.com BUY IT NOW for $1500 at scihouston.org/BuyItNow
