This 7-DAY SAFARI for ONE (1) and ONE (1) OBSERVER w/$1000 TROPHY FEE CREDIT comes from long time SCI supporters Peter and Anso Thormählen. You hunt the trophies of your choice and they give you a credit to start with! Thormählen-Cochran is dedicated to make your African safari an unforgettable experience. The variety of trophy animals available, and photographic tour opportunities, will exceed your wildest expectations. T& C provides exclusive hunting lodges with spacious bedrooms and fully equipped bathrooms, excellent cuisine, hearty breakfasts, 4x4 Land Cruiser hunting cars, highly trained trackers, skinners and professional hunters. Thormählen-Cochran: striving for ultimate perfection in every safari. T& C’s Mpumalanga concessions are in the rugged bush-veld of the coastal mountain range running north from Nelspruit to the northern border of South Africa. Average temperatures are from the high 50s to the high 70s during hunting season. The Kruger Park with its fascinating wildlife is just a few miles away. You also have the opportunity to combine your safari with a scenic tour to the spectacular views of God's Window, Blyde River Canyon, the gold rush history of Pelgrim's Rest, Graskop, Swazi villages and other tourist attractions. Terms: donated days cannot be “credited” after purchase, hunting days may be upgraded, hunt may be upgraded to include additional hunters and observers, any trophy animals available may be hunted, the credit will be taken of the total balance of trophy fees, donated 7 days means: day 1: day of arrival, day 7: day of departure (five days of hunting), hunt must be booked between August of 2017 and August 2018. Safari date cannot be altered unless management approves, hunting area cannot be altered, unless prior arrangements with T & C have been made, an Indemnity Agreement will be signed before commencement of the hunt by every person attending, only one donated hunt may be purchased per family – more than one donation cannot be combined for the same year, trophy animals cannot be guaranteed - fair chase ethical hunting practice applies (credit will be given for trophies not hunted or days not utilized as hunting days). You may upgrade with additional hunters ($450 ea) and/or observers ($250 ea). Not included: airfare to or from Nelspruit/Kruger-Mpumalanga Airport (connecting airport upon arrival in Johannesburg), taxidermy, dip/pack, shipping cost on trophies, $10 PHASA conservation fee per animal, 14 % VAT on day fees and VAT is payable on day fees.
