Spanish Enlisted Man's Artillery Sword. Nice Spanish enlisted man's artillery sword with scabbard. The 35'' bright steel blade is straight with a wide fuller for almost the entire length. It is marked at the ricasso ''Artilleria'' with a crown logo, serial number on the other side, and ''Spain'' on the top spine. The original felt blade washer is present. The cupped steel guard is beautifully polished and blued with an eagle, cross, and crown etched engraved in the metal. Grip panels are black painted checkered wood, with screw retainers. Pommel is blued steel. Scabbard is blued steel with one hanging ring. OAL is 43''. Condition is very good with the blade in original factory polish with some old grease residue. Guard shows light scuffs and scrapes on the outside with light scattered rust at the top. Inside of the guard has scattered rust spots overall. Grip panels are very nice with most of their painted finish intact. Pommel and backstrap have light rust spots, that may clean up nicely. Scabbard has light rust spotting overall, that may clean up well, with one area of heavier rust. Est.: $150-$250.
