Sherwood Outfitters have donated a fantastic opportunity for 2 people to spend 7-days horseback riding through Alberta’s renowned Willmore Wilderness Park. Long-time outfitter, Tyler McMahon will lead your expedition into spectacular backcountry with breath-taking 360-degree views. Throughout your trip, the group at various times and locations will concentrate on glassing for and viewing the iconic Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. You can expect to see species such as, moose, elk, deer, bear and have ample time to view them. While in the backcountry, you will stay in a comfortable wall-tent camp and have delicious meals each day. Sherwood Outfitter’s horses spend months each year in the backcountry being used for trail riding and big game outfitting. Their horses are experienced, sure-footed, and reliable, giving riders of all abilities, a safe and enjoyable time on the trail. Tentative timeframe: August, 2023. Contact outfitter to confirm dates.
