Terry & Peter Martin of KapRiver Outfitters have generously donated a 6-night/5-day Canadian Black Bear Hunting/Fishing Combo Package over bait in Kapuskasing, Ontario for one hunter. Lodging and 2x1 semi-guiding are provided. Groups of up to 10 are welcome. The winning bidder is encouraged to bring other hunters/anglers along to enjoy this exciting adventure. Cost per additional hunter is $2000; cost per additional angler is $1,000 for 6-nights/5-days. Observers are welcome at $1,000 per person for 6-nights/5-days. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room to do your own cooking with a grocery store nearby. We have 3 huge Bear Management Areas covering over 3500 square kilometers (more than 1,350,000 acres). Unlimited fishing is also included for Walleye and Northerns.
The closest commercial airport is in Timmins, Ontario, approximately 100 miles from camp where airport pickup and airport return is $500. You may rent a pickup or SUV at the airport and drive into camp as this is not a fly-in hunt. These hunters are responsible for their own transportation during the hunt. Private planes can land at Kapuskasing Airport.
This donation is good for open dates for the Spring Bear Hunt (May 15 thru June 15) or the Fall Bear Hunt (August 15 thru September 10) 2020 or 2021 Hunt can be extended for $400 per hunter per day. The average bear weighs 200-300 pounds but 400-500 pound Bruins are possible. Color phase (Cinnamon) bears are also fairly common. Required licenses are not included [$250].
