State of California Multi-Zone Pronghorn Antelope Tag
Hunt pronghorn antelope in northeastern California without waiting to accumulate preference points!

Do not miss your opportunity to obtain a unique Pronghorn tag, valid to harvest a pronghorn buck in any of the northeastern California Pronghorn Hunt Zones (1-6). CA pronghorn antelope average mid-70s bucks with the potential for an 80"+ buck. CA averages over 20,000 Pronghorn applications each year. General pronghorn seasons are structured into 4 periods: apprentice (late August, Hunt Zones 3-6), archery (early August, Hunt Zones 2-6), general methods period 1 (mid-August, Hunt Zones 1-6), and general methods period 2 (early September, Hunt Zones 3 and 4).

This Multi-Zone tag allows the tag holder to hunt across all periods, from August 5-September 24, 2023, in any of the 6 Hunt Zones, using rifle, archery, or muzzleloader methods.

This tag is valid for the 2023 season only.

Not included: CA non-resident hunting license (adult: $188.74; junior (under 16): $14.30); CA antelope permit: $527.50; travel; guide fees; any other related expenses. This tag is subject to all existing conditions required for the take of the species, including any required hunting license and hunter orientation programs identified in Title 14, California Code of Regulations.

This tag is non transferable.

This tag will be awarded only after final adoption of the annual mammal hunting and trapping regulations by the California Fish and Game Commission (usually early May). The full amount bid will be reimbursed to the high bidder should a hunting season not be implemented for the species and/or location advertised.

Proceeds from the sale of this tag will benefit the State of California Department of Fish and Wildlife programs and projects benefiting big game species.
