Stevens No. 35 Single-Shot Offhand Target Pistol, #51463, .22 RF cal., blued 6'' round-to-octagonal tip-up barrel with dovetailed bead-blade front and elevation-adjustable rear sights, and auto extraction, is marked with the maker's name, address and ser. no. at breech; blued iron frame has left-side barrel release button, separate trigger guard and integral long target gripstraps with weighted oval butt, two-piece plain ivory grips. Mfg'd ca. 1907-1916. Condition is fine retaining 50%-60% thinning blue overall, fire-blued hammer and trigger, sound and unmarked grips but for two .625'' age cracks at right side, fit well with lovely color. Backstrap is hand inscribed ''Glen Griffith''. Sharp edges and markings; strong action; bore is clean with general frosting and defined rifling. An unusual model in full-blue with ivory grips.
