TAIL FIN STRUCTURE POSSIBLY FROM A WWII GERMAN

MESSERSCHMITT BF 109 PLANE. This approx. 36" x 33" x 4" sheet metal piece appears to be the tail fin from a WWII German Messerschmitt BF 109 Fighter plane. Repainted in a blue & gray camouflage background w/ a black & white German Party symbol on each side. Internal metal has a green finish. Tail fin has many welded, riveted & screwed sheet metal pieces. Phillips head screws & hex head bolts have many different markers stamps. CONDITION: we are unsure that the tail fin section is of WWII origin but are reasonably sure, despite its origin, it has been repainted. Tail section is in solid condition & has significant visual appeal. (02-16648/MD/BF). $300-500.
