L Ray has been supporting SCI for years and now is your chance to win for this 3-day, 2-night Trophy Exotic Hunt for 2-5 hunters for five trophy exotics for a total of up to $5,000 ($1,000 credit for each hunter for one trophy exotic).
The historic Calhoun Cattle Ranch has been in the family for over 150 years and the outfitter, L. Ray Calhoun promises you a good hunt. Your hunt package includes 3-days of professionally guided hunting, 2-nights lodging in the hunter’s lodge, in a 100-year-old restored cabin or in one of three luxurious teepees.
San Antonio, the Alamo, the River Walk, Green Hall, Fredericksburg, wineries, distilleries and so many other great attractions are less than an hour’s drive from the ranch.

- $1,000 Trophy Exotic fee credit / hunter (up to 5 hunters)
- All meals
- 2 nights lodging
- 3 days professional guiding
- Field dressing, skinning and quartering of your animals.

It is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the hunt or trip donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements. If you fail to contact the donor within thirty days of the date of your purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
All auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all hunts or trips must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
A majority of outfitters do not allow "stringing" of donation hunts (purchase of multiple hunts in a single country), even if it is not explicitly stated in the hunt description, so please don't buy more than one hunt per country. If you want to string together two or more donated hunts, be sure to gain the approval of ALL the outfitters ahead of bidding, to ensure they will honor your purchases.
Auction hunts are donated in good faith by the donor. Donations are made to both raise money for our core missions, and secondly to attract new customers to outfitters. Most outfitters do not accept multiple purchases by the same bidder to be used all together as one item. Please be respectful of the opportunity you have been offered!
Auction hunt buyers must be flexible as some dates are inevitably booked by the outfitter or professional hunter.
