TEXAS WILD BOAR HUNT
Buyer's are responsible for the shipping costs for any item purchased.
This is a guided two-night hunt for two hunters along the edge of Palo Duro Canyon near the town of Silverton in the Texas panhandle. It can be taken anytime in 2023 or 2024. This nighttime hunt can be done in two different ways. Option one is to follow a pack of baying hounds managed by professional houndsmen, giving you the opportunity to dispatch the boar with a “Texas pig sticker.” The second option is to drive along the fields or on the rim above the canyon, night-scoping for the hogs and then making a stalk to take your hog with a thermal imaging scope-mounted rifle (rifle and scope provided by the donor). There is no limit on pigs and no license is needed to hunt them! Lodging is provided in a private house in Silverton. You can use the kitchen to prepare meals or use local restaurants featuring TexMex cuisine. Meals, tips, and caping/quartering ($100/hog) are not provided in the donation. If you take this trip during sandhill crane season, a crane hunt can be added for $400/person/day.
