Step into the legacy of the Ford family and experience one of the South’s most exclusive sporting destinations.
Description:
This is your opportunity to spend three days and two nights at Henry Ford’s Winter Estate at The Ford Field & River Club, a private club community set across 1,800 acres of storied land and waterways along Georgia’s Ogeechee River.
The Ford family’s legacy is woven into the property itself. Henry Ford made this land his winter retreat, and today, the tradition of Southern hospitality, conservation, and outdoor sporting continues at this remarkable private destination.
Your experience includes:
• Three days and two nights at Henry Ford’s Winter Estate
• A half-day inshore fishing excursion on the Ogeechee River
• A half-day quail hunt at Dorchester Preserve
This is far more than a getaway—it’s an opportunity to experience a piece of Ford family history, surrounded by some of Georgia’s finest sporting country.
For the angler, the Ogeechee River offers an intimate Lowcountry fishing experience. For the upland enthusiast, a quail hunt at Dorchester Preserve delivers the timeless sporting tradition that has defined the South for generations.
Three days. Two nights. Fishing. Quail. Henry Ford’s winter estate.
And most importantly, an experience at a place where the Ford family legacy remains part of the land, the traditions, and the story.
Valid October 14, 2026 – March 30, 2027. Based on availability; blackout dates apply.

In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the sixth business day after the close of the auction. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If the winner of an auction refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, the CSF shall dispose of the item at our discretion.
ONLINE BIDDING/PERMIT BUYERS: A 6% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price of all lots (unless prohibited by statute). Proceeds will be dedicated to CSF Policy Conservation initiatives.
