Chapter members Chris Ortwein, Dave Brask, and D.J. Brask of the L-4 Ranch are generously donating a hunt for a trophy Bull Elk of up to 400” SCI. Trophy can be upgraded for $100 per inch over 400. Hunt is on their property in Luther, Michigan, a short 90 minutes north of Grand Rapids.
You will see numerous beautiful Elk ranging up to 500 inches SCI on each outing, the real difficulty is selecting the one you want! The hunter will stay in a comfortable and very modern home and enjoy this 2-day, 2-night hunt with wonderful home cooked meals. They have created one of the largest game ranches in the Lower Peninsula over the past ten years. This is a private facility with only top-quality animals and fair chase hunting in mind, as the property encompasses 3000 contiguous acres, which provides a really fantastic hunting experience. The majority of the property consists of mature hardwoods and rolling hills. Chris has a 4-wheel drive electric vehicle to access many, many miles of trails. Chris, who has intimate knowledge of this beautiful and expansive property, will be your guide on this spot & stalk hunt. Large fields are also on the property for spotting that “special” Trophy.
This hunt can be upgraded to include trophy Whitetail in the 170 to 220 inch plus range. Hunt to be taken September thru November 2020 or 2021. Weapon options: rifle, muzzleloader, or handgun. Bow hunting is available, but will require purchasing additional days. This is a highly-coveted hunt and opportunity of a lifetime for one lucky bidder!
