The 2017 Houston Safari Club Professional Hunter of the Year, Bruno Rosich with Trophy Hunting Spain has donated an Iberian Mouflon Sheep hunt for 1 hunter & 1 observer for 4 days. Method of take is rifle and must be taken between September 15-March 31, 2020 or 2021. The hunt will take place in the Pyrenees Mountains, 3-hours from Barcelona, at Trophy Hunting Spain's exclusive 15,000-acre hunting lease. This hunt can be upgraded with the following species: Spanish Ibex (Gredos, Beceite, Ronda & Southeastern), Pyrenean Chamois, free-range Iberian Red Stag, free-range Fallow Deer, European Roe Deer, Feral Goat. This trip combines a magnificent hunt with historical visits, making the perfect trip for you and your spouse. Bidders must understan and be aware that this is real physical mountain hunt, the outfitter cautions that it is only for hunters who are in good shape since most of the hunt is on foot with some serious climbing. The first day of the trip you will visit the Gothic District of Barcelona, and will transfer to the Pyrenees in the afternoon. During the hunt, the observer will have the chance to visit charming Pyrenean towns integrated in a striking landscape. At the end of the trip, if time permitting, you can also enjoy the renowned wine region of El Penedes & the lovely Mediterranean town of Sitges. Included with this donation is 1 Iberian Mouflon Sheep trophy fee, pick-up at Barcelona airport and transportation, round trip, from Barcelona to the hunting area, accommodations at a traditional Pyrenean "chalet" with exceptional Spanish cuisine and wines. Hotels before/after the hunt in Barcelona, license and insurance ($300), trophy preparation and exportation, and taxes (VAT 21% of total value of the donation) are not included. Our mission: Preserving the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage.
Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage. Our members come from a diverse background and have a wide variety of hunting, fishing, outdoor and other interests. But they all have one thing in common-their passion for the outdoors, a love of hunting, a commitment to the responsible management of our national resources, the education of future generations and the responsibilities of being hunter-conservationists.
How do we effect change? HSCF has awarded 525 scholarships totaling $2.25 million dollars. We conduct youth outdoor education programs, career training, hunter education and field experiences throughout the year. HSCF has provided over $3.7 million in grants for hunter-funded conservation initiatives including research, habitat protection, species proliferation, wildlife management, water projects, urban sprawl projects, anti-poaching campaigns and other efforts.

Houston Safari Club (HSC) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization dedicated to legislative and policy initiatives that may affect the future of hunting. HSC supports initiatives that protect the tradition of hunting and hunters’ rights. We take an active role in efforts to effect policy, protocols and legislation. HSC collaborates with legislators, key opinion leaders, policy groups, professional organizations and governments at home and abroad.
Live Auction Rules
§ When bidding from the floor, raise your hand high and, if necessary, stand to get the attention of the auctioneer or one of his spotters.
§ The auctioneer and his staff are responsible for the auction. Their rules must be followed explicitly. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. Auctioneer and staff will decide any disputes regarding the bids during the live auction.
§ Asking questions ahead of time is encouraged. speak with the donor, visit their booth (if they are an exhibitor) and check their references. HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations.
§ Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item.
§ Most hunt donations, unless otherwise specified, are for the 2019 season. All trips, unless otherwise specified, expire January 31, 2020. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction description are expressly between the donor and the auction winner.
§ Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense.
§ It is the bidder’s responsibility to read the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability for Goods & Services. By bidding on any auction item, whether in person or online, the bidder agrees that they have read, understand and agree to the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability.
