GAME GUNS WITH CASE.
1) Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 19181. Bbls. 26". First gun, #3 of a quartet, made w/ Churchill style rib which has sm. steel front bead. Wedges of floral engraving at breech, gold in laid "3" & engraved on top of right tube "FCA DE ARRIETA Y CO. ELGOIBAR". Bbls. are of chopper lump construction w/ polished flats which have S# & proof marks. Self opener in front of forend loop. Case hardened sidelock action is near full coverage engraved in floral pattern w/ ribbons & maker's name engraved on bottom ahead of trigger plate. Hand detachable sidelocks. Beaded fences w/ side clips and top of action are floral & scroll engraved. Water table w/ S#, proof marks & sm. import mark. Breech face w/ bushed strikers & hidden third fastener. Engraved & blued top lever w/ gold inlaid "3" at center. Engraved top tang w/ "S" in front of blued safety slide. Gun made w/ double triggers (front trigger articulated, automatic ejectors, automatic safety & assisted opener. Rolled edge trigger guard is lightly scroll engraved at bow & long tang. Straight grip walnut butt checkered in point pattern through the wrist w/ carved tear drop behind sidelocks has sm. brass oval towards toe & terminates w/ lined red hard rubber buttplate. DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 1/2". LOP: 15" cast off approx. 1/2". Right: Bore diameter: .727. Restriction: cyl. Minimum wall thickness: .028. Left: Bore diameter: .727. CONDITION: excellent as likely factory refurbished during their period of use retaining nearly all factory type finishes to both wood & metal. There is a light scratch on the left side of the forend & only minor handling marks noted elsewhere. There is a tiny grain separation at end of trigger guard bow on left side. Mechanics are fine.
