TWO 19TH CENTURY PERCUSSION PISTOLS.

1) KENTUCKY STYLE FLITNLOCK PISTOL. Cal. 36. NSN. Bbl. 9 5/16" oct. G. Golcher engraved trade lock & hammer. Simple walnut stock w/ iron triggerguard. Hardwood ramrod held by single brass pipe. Butt of stock has carved "E. GREEN". CONDITION: good to very good overall. Metal has faded to a dark patina showing dents, scratches & pitting. Stock has hand worn patina w/ putty repair at tail of lock. Mechanically functional w/ dark pitted bore. (01-19807/DS/JS).
2) ELEGANT DOUBLE BARREL INTEGRAL BRASS BARREL AND FRAME PERCUSSION PISTOL. Cal. 32. NSN. Bbls. 5" w/ smooth bores integral w/ the boxlock action. Top flat has engraved banner marked "F.A.S.". Action has scroll engraving on right side w/ running rabbit game scene on left. Iron top strap has engraved crest that includes 2 lions. Strap is further engraved w/ a tree & indiscernible script signature. Right side of frame & iron triggerguard are also figural engraved. 1 Piece grip w/ exotic burl figure. CONDITION: brass has mottled cleaned appearance w/ numerous dents. iron parts have faded to gray w/ light pitting. Grips show heavy wear w/ grain checks & cracks having brass plate marking repair on right panel. Right hammer has chipped cup. Dark corroded bores. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Gary Parietti.
