1)This very fine example of a bomber pilot’s squadron clasp appears to be gold-plated and has a central silver winged falling bomb. The badge shows a laurel wreath with a party symbol at the base flanked by horizontal oak leaves. Below the wreath is a starburst hanger. The reverse has a wide pin with single rivet construction. There is no maker’s mark on the reverse. CONDITION: clasp generally shows light wear overall. 2) This fine example of a bomber pilot’s squadron clasp appears to be silver-plated with a central darkened winged falling bomb. The badge shows a laurel wreath with a party symbol at the base flanked by horizontal oak leaves. The reverse has a wide pin with single rivet construction. The badge is marked “G.H. OSANG DRESDEN”. CONDITION: badge shows light overall wear and retains better than half of its original silver-plated finish. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Joel Thone. (02-22558/BF). $1,000-1,300.
