3. Trophy Gator for 1 hunter. Our friends at Cajun Outfitters pride themselves for consistently killing some of the biggest wild alligators in the country. With over 60,000 acres in the Atchafalaya Basin Swamp and the limited number of Louisiana tags given out, they are able to selectively harvest mature bull gators 20+ years old. The target is 10ft plus. The hunt takes place by us going out in the swamp trying to locate a trophy gator. After you and your guide locate a shooter gator, we will treble hook and fight him to the surface until we are able to get a shot. This is up close experience fighting an alligator this way. This hunt can take all day, or 30 minutes. It’s wild gators and hunting, so you never know how long the hunt will take. Along with the hunt, you’re guaranteed a great Cajun experience with tons of hospitality, great food, and unbeatable scenery. They provide the best Cajun cuisine. You can expect to see 40-50+ gators a day. Guests stay on their newly renovated houseboats overlooking the swamp. You can keep everything with your gator. Meat, skull, and hide. Cajun Outfitters’ goal is to make this an experience you will never forget. Included: meals, lodging, entertainment for 1 hunter.
