Number of Hunters: One (1) Hunter.
Season Dates: Any 7 consecutive days in December 2016.
Hunt Units Open: 1-5.

Official Requirements:

• Use of aircraft is prohibited.
• Use of snow mobiles and all-terrain vehicles prohibited.
• There is a mandatory permit check in and out.
• A licensed Navajo Nation guide is required and must accompany the hunter any time he or she is on the Navajo Nation lands, including during scouting activities prior to the hunt. The Department of Fish and Wildlife is not responsible for arrangements made between a guide and a client, and the quality of guide services provided.
• No hunter companions, except for immediate family members.
• No refunds.
• Permit cannot be transferred.
• The successful bidder must also submit a completed Navajo Nation Hunt Application in order for permit to be printed.
• Successful bidder must be eligible to hunt on the Navajo Nation.
• The successful hunter must have their Deer checked by Department personnel to collect harvest information.
