The winner will hunt the Turkey's flagship trophy - the Bezoar Ibex.
Its distinctive markings and the largest horn-to-body size ratio of all the ibex species is why many hunters consider it the most desirable. November through December and again in March is considered prime time. The hunt area for this donation produces ibex that average 39-43".
Bigger ibex are often located in these areas and there will be no surcharge for a trophy taken that exceeds the average noted.
Each guiding team across the various regions of the country that we hunt is skilled in knowing their movements and judging trophy quality.
Turkey blends eastern and western civilizations and offers a broad array of non-hunting touring options. Our integrated tourism company can advise on the possibilities.
This hunt is for one (1) hunter for 5 days; 7 days in country.
Additional hunters are welcome, talk to the Outfitter.
The hunt can be scheduled based on openings and hunter preference.
Hunters arrive in Istanbul and usually connect to an airport that is more local to the final hunting area chosen.
Accommodations: typically utilize comfortable village hotels with amenities that are as local to the hunting area as possible. Local restaurants serve delicious food catering to both local and western preferences.
Weapon: Rifle and archery.
Game that can be added: Coastal Ibex, Anatolian Chamois, Wild Boar, Konya Mouflon, Mid-Eastern Red Deer (Anatolian Stag), Bezoar trophy class upgrade.
Not included: Airfare; hotels before or after the hunt, if needed; trophy shipping, brokerage and importing; discretionary gratuities; optional sightseeing.
