U. S. Naval officers sword, with blade etched and showing the name "B. L. Canaga" in block letters within the original etching on the blade; the scabbard is engraved with intertwining initials and date deep cut inblock letters March 4, 1904. The quillon is bent, the guard is also bent, the scabbard is fair to good with many small losses, and the sword is fair to good overall showing use and carry with good blade just showing normal wear and slight discoloration. Note: Lot #825 was collected with this lot and belonged to Bruce Canaga's father whose initials were ABC and was probably from Texas according to noted Texas collector David Tate's estate.Est.: $600-$1,200
