U.S. Springfield Trapdoor single shot rifle, .50 caliber, 32.5” barrel, wood stock, leather sling, S/N 19, from the Stembridge collection; prototype to Model 1870 short receiver, studio converted to .45-70 caliber(to fire blanks); overall fair + condition showing a grey patina on metal surfaces with a good bore, crisp action, good markings and overall good stock displaying scattered marks, dings and scratches from carry andstorage, also remnants of inspector’s initials behind trigger guard tang. Previously in the Little John’s auction of the Stembridge Armory (June, 2007), with documentation as Lot 273 in that sale andnotation “Used in the movie “Dream West”.). (Antique). Est.: $400-$800.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
