Includes: 1) WW2 USMC "Pith Helmet. Pressed Fiber Sun Helmet (often called the "American pith helmet") for training, fatigue details, and garrison wear in hot and tropical climates. Has the Brass EGA affixed to the front, green interior, missing liner. Good for display. 2) US WW2 Civil Defense helmet, issued by the Office of Civilian Defense (OCD) starting in 1941. They were primarily worn by Air Raid Wardens, fire guards, and auxiliary police. Painted white with CD decal on front, complete gray web liner & chinstrap, overall excellent condition. Comes with CD armband made of sturdy paper stock resembling wall paper, it has broken past the CD emblem. Also used during the Korean War. Also included is a US WW2 canteen & belt pouch, no cup. Canteen marked "U.S. A.G.M. Co. 1942", pouch marked "Parker-Lockwood Mfg. Co.-1942.
