Dark blue wool body. Blue Officers strap with Captain rank. Eagle buttons with & #34;I& #34; in the shield. Sleeves are larger in the elbow and tapered at the wrist. The coat is lined with silk. This coat has some moth damage, and show repairs. The lining has moth damage. Overall a good example of a Civil War Frock Infantry Officer& #39;s coat.
