DESCRIPTION
Stiffened wool construction with leather sweatband and unbound leather visor. Leather chinstrap with buckle secured with US general service buttons. Crown fitted with vent. Infantry blue trip with 1872-type eagle along with infantry horn and company letter. Interior shows stamp of Jacob Reeds' Sons, Philadelphia. **Good condition overall. Some moth holes and imperfections to body with sweatband in good condition. Some crazing of leather visor and wear to chinstrap.** $200-$400
