Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Front sight base has course machine marks around the bottom & may be replacement. Bbl. band w/ bayonet lug marked "AI". 6 O'clock slide marked "PI". Rnd. bolt marked "IO". Milled trigger housing marked "INLAND". Rotary safety mag. catch has extension for 30 rd. mags. Straight cut hammer marked "W.I.". Low wood oval cut walnut buttstock marked "IO" in swing slot. Marked on right side of butt w/ "crossed cannons". Buttstock marked w/ "P" under grip. Buttstock has unit marking "DET A. 201" underneath forend & additional "98" rack number. 2 Rivet walnut handguard marked "RMC". MAGS: 2-15 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 6 1/2" blade bayonet marked on front of cross guard "U.S. M4 CAMILLUS". Leather washer handle. Sheath marked "US M8A1". Bayonet retains lg. percentage of dark parkerized finish w/ light wear & scratches. Leather washer handle has light wear & scuffing. Scabbard in good condition w/ light wear & staining. Bbl. band w/ bayonet lug. Includes green web sling w/ oiler. Green web 2 pocket slip on mag. pouch marked "FROEHLICH 1943". Canvas front sight cover marked "U.S. E.A. BROWN MFG. CO. 1944". Web belt case for 1st aid kit or pocket compass. Dated 1953. Band marked "MMQ". Bottom of bayonet lug marked "EM-Q". CONDITION: stock set has original finish w/ crisp markings, light wear & scattered handling marks. Notable sm. dent on left side of stock over mag. well.
