High-Power), 25'' blue barrel with matted rib, game scene engraved case hardened frame, with checkered round knob pistol-grip walnut stock with cheekpiece. Drilling additionally features side safety with ''S'' in gold, barrel selector at upper tang marked ''Kugel'' in gold to lower portion, three nickel silver cocking indicators, pop-up rear rifle sight with platina bead front sight, and rear portion of rib grooved and clearanced for scope mounts. Factory grooved horn buttplate is in place, with shield-shaped nickel silver escutcheon behind rear sling swivel with rifle-toting griffin motif. Mfg'd between 1900-1920. Condition is near fine retaining approx. 90% thinning blue to barrel assembly. Case colors in protected areas. Stock with light scuffs and scratches. Upper portion of comb and cheekpiece has been added, as was the practice of some manufacturers during this time period. Checks with mild to just moderate flattening, and light areas of re-tracing in some areas. Good functioning action, mirror bright bores. Period sling shows repair. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (C&R)
