SARASQUETA OF EIBAR OF ROYAL QUALITY WITH KEY LOCKS. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 1/2". S# 6271. Bbls. 28 3/8" w/ matted concave tapered top rib that has sm. brass front bead, maker's name toward breech end w/ ring of engraving at breech. Bbls. are of chopper lump construction w/ proof marks on flats, "65mm" chamber marking & 2 sm. screws on bottom rib filling sling swivel holes. Case colored water table w/ proof marks, S# & sm. import mark. Full sidelock action is case colored w/ full coverage floral & open scroll engraving engraved to copy a Holland & Holland Royal Grade gun. This gun w/ maker's name at front of bottom of frame in fancy border & says "FABRIQUE/ VICTOR SARASQUETA/ EIBAR". Fences are fully engraved, beaded & have side clips. Blued top lever w/ relief scroll & scroll engraved top tang w/ "SEGURO" in gold in front of fully engraved safety slide. Gun made w/ double triggers (front trigger articulated), auto ejectors, auto safety & key locks. Finely figured European walnut buttstock w/ carved tear drops behind locks checkered in point pattern at wrist, has sm nickel oval near toe terminates with a modern black ventilated pad. Blued trigger guard nicely scroll engraved on bow & at tang. DAC: 1 3/4". DAH: 2 3/4". LOP: 14 1/8". Right: Bore diameter: .720. Restriction: .016 (light mod). Minimum wall thickness: .035. Left: Bore diameter: .721. Restriction: .034 (Imp Mod). Minimum wall thickness: .035. Weight: 7 lbs 2 oz. CONDITION: excellent. Bbls. retain more than 95% original blue. Case hardened action is excellent w/ well more than 90% bold original case color remaining. Stocks are sound & retain most of what appears to be their original finish. Bores are bright & shiny.
