SEMI-AUTO CARBINE. Cal. 30 Carb. S# 1351904. Bbl. 18", marked behind front sight "UNDERWOOD 11-42" & "flaming bomb". Flip type rear sight. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Rifle has correct very early features including Rock-Ola stock supplied to Underwood through lateral support. Narrow bbl. band w/ stamped sling swivel. Straight cut slide marked ".U." Flat bolt marked ".U." Milled trigger housing marked ".U." at bottom w/ ordnance bomb. Checkered push button safety. Mag. catch serrated & marked "W/1". Dog-leg hammer marked ".U." High wood T-slot walnut buttstock marked "RMC" in sling slot. Boxed UEF GHD on right side of butt. Encircled "P" proof at end of grip. Deep groove 2 rivet walnut handguard marked "RMC". MAGS: 1-15 rd. marked "UU". CONDITION: stock set has moderate wear, scratches, staining & handling marks throughout, commensurate w/ long service. Handguard has full length crack in bottom of groove. Metal has traces of original parkerized finish w/ thinning & wear. Exposed areas of receiver, bbl. & band forward of handguard are turning patina. Very good shiny bore w/ sharp lands. (21-3581/RW).
