VERY SCARCE J. KIMBALL ARMS 30 CARBINE PISTOL.

Cal. 30 Carbine. S# 234. Bbl.5". Manufactured 1955-1958. The J. Kimball Arms Co. 30 Carbine pistol was a short lived project to develop a companion sidearm for those using an M1 Carbine, sharing the same ammo. The project was dropped after a short time with less than 250 being manufactured, making these a scarce commodity today. Blued finish on exposed metal surfaces. Blade front & dovetailed notch rear sights. Black plastic, checkered grips. Mag release is a thumb actuated button behind the left grip. Safety located on right side above trigger. MAGS: 1 steel 7rd. CONDITION: Finish coverage is complete & consistent w/ only a few light marks as witness to any prior use. Grips are in nice condition demonstrating only little noticeable use under close inspection. Bore is bright w/ descent rifling. (22-6065/JZ). CURIO. $800-1,200.
