Cal. 30 Carb. S# 1755695. Bbl. 18", marked behind front sight w/ faint "ROCK-OLA". Bbl. also marked on right side of gas cyl. "ROCK-OLA". Flip type rear sight marked "RP". Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Sight base marked on left side w/ "2". Carbine was made approx. November 1943 in the 1st S# block. Narrow bbl. band marked "UR". Stamped swivel. Operating slide marked "ROCK-OLA". Flat ROCK-OLA bolt. Milled Rock-Ola trigger housing. Smooth push button safety. Mag. catch marked "BP". Straight hammer marked w/ boxed "BP". Recoil plate marked "ROCK-OLA". MAGS: 1-15 rd. marked "RIC". High wood T-slot walnut buttstock marked "RMC" in sling slot. Stock is otherwise unmarked. 2 Rivet walnut handguard w/ deep sighting groove marked "RMC". CONDITION: stock has very good original finish w/ scattered tiny handling marks. Handguard has notably stained & worn finish w/ handling marks. Metal has 80% dark parkerized finish. Rear sight dovetailed in receiver. Has notable deep staking at right rear. Very good shiny bore.
