Rnd. bbl. over chamber “44 CAL. CF”. Bbl. marked ahead of rear sight “WHITNEYVILLE ARMORY CT U.S.A.” & “KENNEDY”. Semi buckhorn sporting rear sight w/ replacement elevator. Brass blade front sight. Full length mag. Rifle style forend cap. Serpentine lever. Walnut stock set. Crescent buttplate w/ sliding brass trap. CONDITION: stock set has well worn original finish w/ scratches, staining & handling marks. Buttstock has loss of wood in toe area w/ sm. cracks & chipping. Notable crack on left side of butt forward from buttplate. Buttstock has crack on right side by receiver tang. Buttstock is slightly loose in frame. Forend has wear & slight loss of wood around forend tip. Metal has traces of blue in protected areas turning overall gray w/ areas of oxidation & patina. Sm. dents & scratches scattered throughout. Many screws are poorly fitted replacements. Tang has been incorrectly drilled for sight. Half cock notch does not hold. Loading gate is inoperable. Mag. tube has numerous dents. Action has nipple for Musket sized cap. 2 Position tumbler. Single trigger. Lever locking catch. 2 Piece straight grip checkered walnut stock w/ patchbox & military style buttplate. CONDITION: stock set has light wear & numerous scattered handling marks. Buttstock has sm. crack at toe. Forend has lightly stained appearance on left side. Receiver & lock plate have case colors.
