Cal. 44 HCF. S# 151513. Bbl. 20" w/ fixed front sight & carbine leaf rear sight. Full length mag. Blue finished bbl. & mag. tube w/ case colored hammer, lever & trigger. Brass action has saddle ring on left side w/ fire blued loading gate & screws. Replacement band fastened carbine forearm & straight grip walnut stock w/ brass trapdoor carbine buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: records check from the Cody Firearms Museum detailing the following information, "Type: Carbine / Received in warehouse on December 06, 1877 / To Round barrel - August 02, 1879 / Shipped from warehouse on August 04, 1879, Order number 16406". Also includes 3 piece cleaning rod held in stock compartment. CONDITION: fine as restored. Bbl., mag. tube & small parts retain 98% reblued finish. Hammer, lever & trigger retain 98% restored case colors. Brass has artificially aged appearance having an unnatural red-toned tarnish. Replacement wood has very good finish showing small marks.
