SRC. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). S# 418206. Bbl. 16" w/ pinned blade front sight & carbine leaf rear sight. Full length takedown mag. Action has saddle ring on left side. Blue finished w/ case colored hammer, lever & buttplate. Replacement 8 1/4" trapper style forearm. Replacement straight grip stock w/ steel carbine buttplate. Mfg. 1907. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: letter from the Cody Firearms Records Office detailing the following information, "Serial number applied on January 25, 1908 / Configuration records not available". CONDITION: beautifully restored carbine . Over 95% blue showing edge wear & marks on action. 97% case colors showing edge wear. Markings are recut. Wood has very good open grain finish.
